CV WRITING AND RESUME WRITING
We prepare CVs from scratch or we can reformat your
existing CV. In each case, once you have placed your order,
you will be presented with our standard questionnaire.
In the case of a CV from scratch, we require that you complete
the entire form as fully as possible. In the case of a CV reformat,
we ask that you complete only the missing information not
already provided on your CV.

As part of our CV and Resume writing services, our consultants
will provide a telephone consultation to discuss your particular
requirements in more detail. Alternatively, we are happy to correspond
via e-mail.

Once we have received your order and cleared payment, your can
expect a first draft within 5-working days. A DRAFT copy of your
Curriculum Vitae will be sent via e-mail for your review and comments.
You have 14 days in which to make as many changes as necessary;
we endeavour to make changes within 24-hours.
Updates: Once we have prepared your Impressive CV, your
CV will be kept on file for a period of 5-years. Should you require
any changes or additions to your CV, please contact
us to discuss. Alternatively, please email us the information
to be added or updated together with your CV and we will provide
you with a quotation. Each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case
basis depending on what is required.

CV ADVISORY SERVICES
Would you like the freedom to rewrite your own CV but have access
to specialist CV advice? Our consultants are at hand to provide
you with help and advice.
What the service includes and timescales:
- After placing your order and making payment, we ask that
you email your CV to us at: advice@impressivecvs.co.uk. Alternatively,
your CV can be faxed or posted;
- Within 24 hours of receiving your order, you will be contacted
by an Impressive CV's consultant to arrange a convenient time
for a consultation;

During the in-depth telephone discussion of between 30 minutes
and one hour (depending on CV level), you will receive detailed
advice on CV layout, content and presentation;
- You will be required to make notes during the discussion and rewrite
your CV based on the comments and advice received;
- Within five working days of receiving the consultation, you will
email your CV to the respective consultant for final comments
and feedback;
- Within 48-hours, you will receive, via email, final feedback/comments
or further suggestions.

COVER LETTERS
The purpose of cover letters is to add a personal touch each
time your CV is sent out - cover letters introduce you as an
individual. A good cover letter should highlight your core skills
and experience, and should generate enough interest for them
to read your CV. For each letter produced, a short questionnaire
is required to be completed.
Specific: These are prepared taking into account the
background and skill set required for a specific vacancy, and
we ask that you supply a copy of the job description and/or
the advertisement.
Speculative: These are prepared when you are writing
to a company to establish what opportunities may exist for someone
with your skills or in response to potential vacancies. We provide
speculative cover letters that are designed for utmost effect
whenever they are sent.

Our consultants are experienced at working across a variety of
sectors and industries, and as such, we do not specialise in a
particular industry. We do have consultants who cover the more
technical fields, such as IT, Telecomms and Medical. We DO
NOT cover very specialised Academic CVs.
